About Starling Hair Studio
Hi, my name is Emily Marie. I'm a licensed cosmetologist and my journey in the beauty industry started back in 2015.
After bouncing from one corporate establishment to the next, I decided it was time to have a space of my own. Named after my beloved pet bird, I'm thrilled to welcome you to Starling Hair Studio- operating out of Schaumburg, Illinois inside of Salon Lofts off of West Golf Road.
My specialties include but are not limited to: classic clipper styles, close-cropped fades, long-layered cuts, textured bobs, mullets, vivid color, lived-in color, and corrective color.
When I'm not behind the chair, you can find me cooking up some food, hanging out with my menagerie of pets, or making music with my band From Ashes to Embers. I also love movies and love recommendations for my next watch.
Whether you're a familiar face or a brand new one, I am thrilled to have you in my chair. I can't wait to do your hair!

One clipper guard all over the head

Signature Haircut
A custom cut, tailored to fit your needs using clippers and/or scissors. (Hair length starting at mid-ear and shorter.)

Fade finished with a box shaver for smooth edges down to the skin

Scissor cut for hair starting at the bottom of the ears to the shoulders.
